For the hands that somehow do everything.
They carry the market bag home.
Wash the greens. Chop the herbs. Arrange the flowers.
Make dinner. Clean it up.
Open one more package. Type one more email. Water something. Fix something. Make something.
Our hands move through nearly every part of the day, yet they are often the easiest part of us to overlook.
Market Hands was made for the small pause between all of that.
A concentrated botanical balm that softens and conditions dry-feeling hands and cuticles, then gets out of the way so you can keep going.
A little care for the hands that carry the day.

Why we made it
The things we use most are often the easiest to overlook.
Hands carry flowers home, wash the greens, make dinner, clean up, type the last email, and start again the next morning.
We wanted to make something simple enough to become part of those ordinary moments. Not another routine. Not an ingredient list made longer for the sake of sounding impressive.
Just a useful botanical balm with a short formula, a satisfying texture, and a place in everyday life.
Five ingredients because five are enough.

Five ingredients. Each one has a job.
Calendula-infused high-oleic sunflower oil
This is where Market Hands begins.
Dried calendula is infused into high-oleic sunflower oil to create the botanical oil base of the balm. Lightweight and conditioning, it helps soften dry-feeling skin while carrying the calendula infusion through the formula.
Golden jojoba
Chosen for its silky slip and conditioned finish.
Jojoba helps Market Hands glide easily across the hands and cuticles without adding unnecessary complexity to the formula.
Mango butter
Rich, soft and cushioning.
Mango butter gives the balm body and a more substantial feel, adding richness where dry-feeling hands need it most.
Beeswax
The ingredient that turns the oils and butter into a balm.
Beeswax gives Market Hands its solid structure and leaves a protective-feeling finish on the skin.
Vitamin E
A small but purposeful addition.
Vitamin E helps protect the oils in the formula from oxidation and supports the integrity of the balm over time.
Nothing included simply to make the ingredient list longer.

A balm that melts as you use it.Market Hands begins solid in the jar.
Sweep a finger across the surface and the warmth of your skin begins to soften the balm. Massage a small amount into hands, knuckles, cuticles or other dry-feeling areas until it melts in.
The result is a rich, conditioned feel with a soft protective-feeling finish.
Because the formula is concentrated and water-free, a little goes a long way.

How to use
Warm a small amount between your fingers, then massage into hands, cuticles, knuckles or other dry-feeling areas as needed.
Start with less than you think you need. Add more where your hands want it.
Use after washing, after dishes, before bed, at your desk, or whenever your hands feel like they could use a little care.

Made slowly, in small batches.
It starts with calendula and oil.
Before Market Hands becomes a balm, dried calendula is infused into high-oleic sunflower oil.
The golden infusion is filtered, then combined with jojoba, mango butter, beeswax and vitamin E before being poured into jars and left to set.
It is a simple process, but one where each ingredient and each step has a reason for being there.
Infuse. Filter. Melt. Pour. Set.
Then keep one close.

No added fragrance. On purpose.
Hands move constantly between food, flowers, work, home and everything in between.
We did not think they needed another scent competing for attention.
So Market Hands has no added fragrance.
You may notice the natural character of its ingredients, but there is no perfume or fragrance blend added to the formula.
Just the balm itself.

Keep it where your hands need it most. Beside the sink
For the pause after washing produce, doing dishes or cleaning up the kitchen.
At your desk
For hands and cuticles between emails, projects and everything else that fills the workday.
By the bed
A small final ritual before the lights go out.
In the market tote
For hands that carry the flowers, the bread, the greens and the rest of the morning home.
Useful enough to keep within reach. Beautiful enough to leave there.

The Market Morning comes home in your hands.
There is something about a market morning that stays with you.
The paper bag filled with fruit. Herbs wrapped in damp towels. Flowers balanced against your shoulder. Bread tucked somewhere it probably should not be.
By the time everything reaches the kitchen, your hands have already done half the work.
Market Hands was made to belong naturally in that same world.
Botanical ingredients. Everyday usefulness. A small object that earns its place by being used.
